Made from a cotton and linen blend, this terry hand towel features the cotton and dark blue coloured Unikko (poppy) pattern. The towel has two different coloured sides because the dominant colour on the reverse is the opposite of the right side. Unikko (poppy), symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.

Did you know that cotton clothes actually can be washed, dried and heated several times without any notable marks? But instead of bleaching it, you can easily use lemon juice for stains and vinegar for bad smell. This both benefits your clothes and the environment.
