With the Colore series, Kähler puts the spotlight on the authentic and complete meal, where we can relax and enjoy the company of those we love. The Kähler Colore bowl in Sage Green has the same sensuous and tactile design as the rest of the series and is made of stoneware. The bowl is hand-turned and, with its 19-cm diameter, is the optimal size for a small dinner table with just a few guests, and complements the rest of the Colore series for larger dinner parties. The green tableware pieces in the Colore series have both a visual and value-based statement, manifesting the meeting of two worlds – Kähler Colore and Aarstidernes country kitchen with all its colours. The collaboration with Aarstiderne is about celebrating a passion for traditional crafts and a passion for food culture, the environment and people. This is a unique combination, where quality provides the perfect setting for a complete food experience. The green colour exudes happiness and sensuality and pays tribute to the intense taste and aroma of exclusive spices such as sage. All pieces from the series are decorated with a hand-painted brush stroke along the edge, which visually frames the shapes and reveals there is a person behind them. Inspired by traditional craft techniques, the glossy glaze used for Colore creates a beautiful, vibrant and varied effect typical of many of Kähler’s 1930s tableware pieces. Colore has been given a glaze with similar qualities, creating a vibrant surface that elegantly accentuates the sensuous details and shapes of this tableware. The entire Colore tableware is dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe for everyday use.
