How to style fan gear

Fan gear is having a moment. Not only is wearing a fan top fun and shows you’re rooting for a home team (or not!) summer is a great time to wear them as you need nothing but a bold shirt to make a statement. Here’s what you should know before you add to cart.

+ Go old school. Lots of jerseys feature corporate logos and high-tech fabrics, go for a vintage style instead as its way cooler and design-wise it will always look good.

 

+ Wear it casually which basically means with sneakers. We love a high-low mix, but a soccer jersey with a pair of smart trousers is just weird. Jerseys go best with jeans and your cleanest white sneakers.

+ Pick one that looks good on you. There are lots of ugly ones and the benefit of not being a fan of any team is that you have no reason to wear an ugly jersey just because it’s the team you support. Instead, find one that suits you in terms of style and colour.

 

+ Go oversized as even those of us that are in shape, a super tight t-shirt will just look odd with street clothes.
