4-way stretchThe Falketind Warm2 Octa Hood is a technical mid-layer designed for year-round mountaineering. It is also suitable for various outdoor activities, including trekking and ski touring. The jacket features a unique bonded fabric construction with an Octa liner that provides lightweight insulation and effective moisture transportation. The warm2 face fabric offers warmth, durability, and wind resistance while allowing moisture wicking. The warm2 face is made from recycled polyester, making it soft, wind-resistant, and PFC-free DWR treated for added protection. The Octa liner is lightweight and breathable, allowing for continuous release of body heat. The back and underarm panels are made from stretchy recycled polyester for enhanced moisture transportation and breathability. The jacket features a beanie-compatible hood, elastic piping around the face, a chest pocket, two hand pockets, and cuffs with thumbholes. The technical fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms allows for freedom of movement during climbing. The longer cut in the back provides extra protection. The jacket has no seams on the shoulders to prevent chafing when wearing a backpack.
