The 100% recycled polyester outer material, meanwhile, will keep the elements out thanks to a treatment of non-fluorinated Bionic Finish ECO that provides highly durable water repellency. And to really make sure kids stay dry throughout the day, the mittens use a technique called welded seams to prevent leaks from penetrating. Finally, the mittens feature high-vis reflective prints to help keep kids safe as they move about during the season’s shorter days.
