Bankers Clock er oprindeligt designet unikt til Danmarks Nationalbank af den berømte danske artikekt og designer Arne Jacobsen. Jacobsen designede også bordure, og nu er det oprindelige LK bordur blevet produceret i en version med Bankers Clock urskiven. Teit Weylandt som i en årrække var leder af Jacobsens tegnestue har været med til at sikre, at uret er tro Jacobsens designfilosofi og mod de originale tegninger. Borduret har i den moderne version både lyssensor og snooze funktion, så man blot ved at bevæge hånden over uret aktiverer begge dele.
