Its 13 stars and stripes recall early American flags, including the one that flew over Fort McHenry during the War of 1812, which inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and the restoration of which Ralph Lauren generously helped underwrite in 1998. It is crafted with indigo-dyed cotton and an Aran-knit technique for added texture. Our founder’s initials are hand-embroidered at the front.Regular Fit: wider at the chest while still maintaining a modern silhouette.Size medium has a 26.25" body length (front and back), a 42" chest, and a 33.5" sleeve length.
