As we return to the office, it’s time to level up the work wardrobe. We talked to four people in different industries about how they dress for work.
What do you like to wear for work?
I like to mix and match materials in my daily outfit. Add some leather, knitted structure, or some silky details to make my look a bit more interesting. I love to wear a pair of leather pants, a T-shirt with a print and an oversized blazer. I style it with a pair of chunky loafers and a classic shopper bag.
Go-to work uniform?
My go-to work uniform is the suit, preferably in colour to make it a bit more personalised. If I don’t know what to wear, the suit feels more put-together.

Shoes, accessories, and a fun touch on your make-up is my trick to change an outfit from office to After Work vibe. Small things that make your outfit shine a bit extra.
What do you like to wear for work?
I like to mix different styles together, like wearing a cool blazer along with a pair of track bottoms and a pair of chunky, fun, yet comfortable sneakers. To top it all off, silver necklaces, rings and earrings.
Go-to work uniform?
My go-to uniform has somewhat become my leather blazer just because it goes on top of pretty much every outfit, and it also adds a different texture. It being leather, or actually pleather, works as a nice contrast against other fabrics such as silks, which in my opinion makes the outfit more interesting. Minimal effort with a maximum impact.
Desk-to-After Work plan?
I’m a sucker for using make-up as a type of accessory. You can achieve so much with just a pop of colour on your eyes without having to make major outfit changes, therefore my ultimate trick is to bring some fun cream eyeshadows or colourful eyeliners to work and spice up my make-up right before heading for an AW.
What do you like to wear for work?
Minimalism has always been the keyword to my work wardrobe. I love to combine comfortable yet sophisticated pieces – perfect for meetings, but also for days when you sit a lot in front of the computer. Dad sneakers are definite must.
Go-to work uniform?
You’ll mainly see me in mid/low-rise straight jeans and my boyfriend’s business shirts. I’m currently obsessed with extra-long jeans since it gives the illusion that I’m taller. I love my fits a bit baggier, but then accentuate the waist with a black leather belt. Throw in a pair of mini hoops and my chunky wedge leather boots, and I’m home.
Desk-to-After Work plan?
I always have a pair of heels in my work bag that I switch to when I want to make my outfit feel a bit more elevated and fun. If we have a scheduled AW, I plan my outfit, accordingly, switching it up to my favourite tube top with a big and voluminous rose attached, very inspired by Loewe and Magda Butrym. I love combining it with a low waist maxi skirt and an oversized blazer.
What do you like to wear for work?
Pretty classic style – blazer, blouse, and black trousers. Black dress and tights always work. I try my hand at colour but unfortunately often end up in black, grey, and beige. In autumn, I often wear a pencil skirt and a finely knitted sweater with heeled boots or pumps.
Go-to work uniform?
Depends, a white shirt always feels right with off-white, wide-leg suit pants.
Desk-to-After Work plan?
Red lipstick on, off with the stiff blazer, and on with high heels. A lovely shirt always feels relaxed and can usually be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
